Perinatal grief & Loss
Are you experiencing difficulty trying to conceive, infertility, pregnancy, or infant loss?
I offer perinatal loss support to birthing persons, individuals, and couples in Pennsylvania through psychotherapy.
Whether you are finding it hard to cope with the everyday stress and emotions of infertility or loss, loss is changing your relationships with those around you, or you feel uncertain about which direction to turn, I can help you move through and integrate your grief to gain understanding, make meaning, and to feel more like yourself.
Perinatal grief and loss could look like:
Miscarriage
Ectopic Pregnancy
Chemical Pregnancy
Missed Miscarriage
Abortion
Infertility
Termination for Medical Reasons (TFMR)
Failed transfer
IUI/IVF
Stillbirth
Neonatal loss
Blighted Ovum
Molar pregnancy
Adoption/foster
Medical diagnosis, like PCOS
Pregnancy after loss
And more. Any type of loss is as unique and personal as the individual experiencing it.
This is a deep, identity-transforming type of pain that society does not know how to process and talk about openly. Trauma frequently coincides with this type of grief.
I am here to walk with you through this grief in counseling. I focus on:
Regulating the nervous system through somatic breathwork, yoga, or gentle movement
Offering psychoeducation and understanding how grief is affecting day-to-day life
Finding ways to tell your story, through writing or creative expression
Working on grief styles and communication between couples who have experienced a loss
Let’s talk for 15-min on a no-pressure-to-book call and see if we are a good fit.
I offer psychotherapy services in PA, coaching globally, and am self-pay only at this time. Please visit the Services pages for more information on my rates.
